Our History and Services

Since 1918, the Lutheran Home of Southbury has cared for people of any faith who needed assistance during their later years of life.  While the facilities and services have developed over the years to better care for aging residents, New England-style elegance and compassionate care remain the Lutheran Home of Southbury’s distinctive attributes.

“There is no other place I’d rather be than at the Lutheran Home of Southbury.  The staff here is caring and attentive, and the facility is clean.  My social worker always has time to listen to and resolve my concerns.  I enjoy the many activities provided for residents, as well as time socializing with others.”
