Southbury, CT... On Saturday June 4, the dedicated volunteers of the Lutheran Home of Southbury’s Guild worked tirelessly to organize and run the annual Lutheran Home of Southbury Guild Fair! The event attracted hundreds of people and raised thousands of dollars that will be used to enhance the lives of those living at the Lutheran Home. Among the attractions were strawberry shortcake, books, crafts, homemade candies, jellies and baked goods. Visitors also were also treated to music provided by the Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers as they strolled among the tents and tables. Another annual favorite attraction were the drawing and silent auction tables featuring valuable items donated by several local merchants and businesses. Thank you to our Guild volunteers and to our guests for making the day an enormous success.
