Community Services
LSS In-Home Care, is a program of Lutheran Social Services of New England and locally administered by the Lutheran Home of Southbury. This program offers an alternative to institutionalized programs by providing assistance at home.
LSS In-Home Care provides:
- Companionship
- Meal planning and preparation
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Transportation to appointments and stores
- Pet care

LSS In-Home Care provides exceptional caregiver training programs, developed by staff at the Lutheran Home of Southbury who possess decades of caregiving experience. Furthermore, LSS In-Home staff training incorporates the Dementia Care expertise of the Lutheran Home of Southbury, an organization that is recognized as the first nursing home in Connecticut to certify 100% of its staff in Dementia Care through the Alzheimer’s Association.
