The Tree of Life
The Tree of Life is a donor recognition plaque that honors our most generous donors to the Lutheran Home of Southbury since the turn of the century, and will be updated with new and larger donors on an annual basis. Plaque designers are working to complete this plaque by the fall of 2006, when the plaque will be displayed in the Lutheran Home of Southbury’s main hallway. Please return to this web page in the future for further details on the Tree of Life.

The Southbury Guild
The Southbury Guild, since it was established in 1925, has raised thousands of dollars for the Lutheran Home by coordinating fundraising events. In addition to raising money, the Guild hosts special events that bless staff and residents of the Home. Events include:
- The Staff Appreciation Lunch
- May Fest
- The Guild Fair
- The Christmas Shopping Spree
Guild members are willing to spend their time to coordinate these events — and often reach into their own personal funds to give sacrificially to this ministry — because they desire to provide a comfortable and loving environment for residents of the Lutheran Home, who are living out the final season of their lives.
To learn about our next event or meeting, to place your address on their mailing list, or to become a Guild Member, please contact:
