The Tree of Life is a donor recognition plaque that honors our most generous donors to the Lutheran Home of Southbury since the turn of the century, and will be updated with new and larger donors on an annual basis. Plaque designers are working to complete this plaque by the fall of 2006, when the plaque will be displayed in the Lutheran Home of Southbury’s main hallway. The Southbury Guild, since it was established in 1925, has raised thousands of dollars for the Lutheran Home by coordinating fundraising events. In addition to raising money, the Guild hosts special events that bless staff and residents of the Home. Events include:
